Meet Norah Clair Gourlay, FNP-C

For over 20 years, Norah has pursued her passion for clinical nursing, and her dedication to her work shows. A tenured nurse and board-certified nurse practitioner who managed the renowned cardiac surgery operating room department at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Norah’s interest in aesthetic procedures began when she started assisting the region’s leading plastic surgeons during complex surgeries and learning best-in-class methods for treating the skin and body.  She quickly embraced the transformative power of approaching health and beauty with this whole-body outlook and expanded her nursing education and repertoire to include cosmetic and skin health treatments.

Today, armed with her belief that true rejuvenation and revitalization begins only when overall health is a key part of the process, Norah offers her clients an advanced approach to their well-being through aesthetic and advanced practice nursing.

To help women and men in the greater metropolitan region address their most pressing cosmetic and health concerns clinically, Norah has completed extensive training in the most advanced cosmetic skin treatments currently available. Her specialties include neuromodulators, injectable fillers, laser resurfacing, intense pulse light treatments, microneedling, radiofrequency and ultrasound contouring, skin tightening, fat reduction, laser hair removal, platelet-rich plasma, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare.

She is a member of the Association of American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, American Nurses Association (ANA), and American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

When not working with her clients, Norah can be found in a yoga or Pilates class, playing golf, relaxing at the beach, or hitting the ski slopes with her family. She is married, has two sons, and lives in Potomac, MD, with her husband.
